Advent Quiet Morning December 7

Advent is the season that most of the "outside" world doesn't "keep." There is so much busyness to decorate, shop, cook, prepare, mail, write... The world pressures us in December and it's easy to get so caught up in it that we lose track of these precious 4 weeks to prepare for the coming Christ Child.

Here is a morning to step away, into the silence of the church, for whatever time you can during these hours. We'll begin with a short Morning Prayer. Advent devotional materials will be present. Come to sit, pray, light a candle, journal, knit, read, whatever will still your soul and calm your spirit. A lectio divina reading may be offered. Come, even if is to take a much needed nap.
