Blessing of backpacks!

Everyone is literally "gear-ing" up for school to begin and the program year at church. So grab your backpack, new or old, even if it's been blessed multiple times before! We will incorporate a blessing into the worship service as a part of our prayers for all who return to a learning environment, a safe resumption of school, gratitude for those who teach, and the joys of learning. Two Sundays, so you have a choice. :-) We're looking forward to it! We will also bless the filled backpacks that are going to Lutheran World Relief and those students who will receive them.
