Congregational vote on pastoral candidate!
Super important! We will vote, as a congregation, whether to issue a call to the pastoral candidate we met earlier this week. This requires a 2/3 approval of all in attendance and we'd like a full house of voters. Your voice and vote are needed for this most important decision.

This congregational vote comes up only once every several years, when there is a change in pastoral leadership. Please make every effort to be present and a part of it. It is an in-person vote, paper ballot, so no voting early or absentee. We'd like this decision to be made by a broad base of members with as many of us participating as possible. It's a momentous vote; don't leave your voice out of it if at all possible.
This vote does not seal the deal if it is 'yes.' The candidate also has to say 'yes' to our offer of call and compensation package when/if we offer it. So please keep this holy discernment process in your prayers and be with us on August 17!
